The CONTEXT Asia Pac team had a productive presence
at Bett Asia, the leading
EdTech event in Southeast Asia, attended by over 2,400 industry
stakeholders. As AI transforms education across the region,
discussions at Bett Asia highlighted its applications, including
personalised learning, language acquisition, AI in STEM education, and
the rise of smart classrooms. Attendees from Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong
Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, and India confirmed AI’s impact,
particularly in customised learning tools and real–time analytics.
During conversations with educators and
administrators, we learned that AI–powered solutions, such as tutoring
systems, language–learning apps, and robotics courses, are actively
reshaping how students engage with content. However, challenges such
as unequal access to AI tools and a preference for traditional
teaching approaches in some regions remain focal points. Many schools
in lower–income or rural areas still face barriers in integrating AI,
emphasising the need for equitable educational resources.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for us
to connect directly with key stakeholders, understand regional
challenges, and identify opportunities to expand in the EdTech market.
By engaging in insightful discussions and gathering first–hand
feedback, we feel that we have deepened our understanding of the
current landscape, positioned CONTEXT within the education space, and
generated interest among potential clients in the region. This
experience highlighted how AI is reshaping education and reaffirmed
the sector’s importance as we consider new areas for client expansion
and comprehensive market analysis.
With AI poised to continue its expansion in
education, events like Bett Asia allow us to stay at the forefront of
EdTech trends, gathering data that supports clients in addressing
digital needs and advancing equitable access to transformative
educational technologies.
